ETTHEKIDSPLAY! is a project I made in my bedroom entirely from scratch, all sewn on a domestic machine and designed on the same PC I’m writing this with. 

I actually finished the project like nearly 2 years ago and I’m only releasing it now, shit happens don’t forget who you are. A lot has happened since and my skill has improved a lot. I’m really proud of this collection and I love how raw and real it came out. 

The essence of this shit is the raw and rough nature of growing up, fucking around, doing bad shit and what came from all that is scuffed and imperfect. So are these clothes, I mean I’m fully self taught and even now I’m not great at making clothes. 

Now I doubt this lil monologue fills you with confidence after you’ve given me your money but trust I care deeply about what I put out and I care deeply about you. This shit truly saved my life and means so much to me, creating has given me so much and I want to share that with you as much as possible. I also think in this current landscape of soulless fast fashion shit that gets pumped out the grinder every second we must value what is real. Creation is a gift, and an incredibly useful skill. Make something truly yours, watch it fall apart, sew it together, value it , treasure it , watch it morph and change with you as you stumble through whatever the fuck is going on in the world right now.
